Hey everybody its PD writing you again, remember, the Church Conference in Chile 2009 coming January for more info contact your Pastor.

Well for us here the weather is getting perfect! We have been able to visit the beach a couple of times.
I want to encourage everybody to pray for us here there are a lot of battles here and a lot people who have tried witchcraft and who are in need to be set free.

We are continuing our Sunday service study on the Book of Matthew and have started chapter 6. We are in the process of working on a Father vs Son soccer match for December and a Couples Workshop for December. Karen and Patty started a children's Ministry and Andrew and Beke are assisting. Patty is leading the Youth Group and they are growing and doing very well. Karen and the Women's Ministry meets on Thursdays and are currently studying the Bad Girls of The Bible and along with each lesson they do a craft.

Please continue to pray for us because we need for the Lord to rise up Leaders for us here as we are growing and are reaching more people.

For Halloween, which is celebrated here, we held a workshop on what Halloween is really about and opened the church for the kids in the neighborhood to hang out, play video games, have candy, and play games.

Karen is trying to figure out a way for us to celebrate Thanksgiving here in Chile but it is really hard to find the food here to make it (I would really like some pumpkin pie yum)!

Remember it is getting warm here and cold there and we are ahead of California 5 hours.

You can learn more or talk to us directly we have a COCEDEIN Valparaiso Myspace, and all of us here have a Facebook check it out if you get a chance.

Many Many Blessing

We conduct Sunday Bible studies at 10:30 a.m. and we are studying the Gospel of Matthew from beginning to End we started with Jesus genealogy and right now we are at the Sermon on the Mount Chptr 5. We have our Weds Bible study at 7:00 p.m. and are fucusing on our new people with an Introduction to Jesus in 6 lessons titled Jesus the Teacher, The Healer, The Shepherd, The Servant, The Savior, The Risen Lord. And we Fellowship every single night we have people over for dinner and talk and have a great time the word is out that our doors are open and everyone is welcome. We had our first visual on Friday the 10th from 8 p.m. to about 2 a.m and that was a huge blessing the spirit moved through the people in a powerful way we had about 21 people attend. Then to top it off Me, Karen, Pati, and Adrian left for Rancagua for the psychology classes a few hours later at 5:00 a.m. we got back by 5:00 p.m. for Youth Group at 6:00 p.m. and had people over for dinner till about midnight it was a real eventfull weekend we were all exhausted It was in all cases a real blessing. A week ago we went to meet one of our members mothers in the Local Prison It was a real experience especially for Pati and Karen just ask them!!! She was very excited to meet us she said she had heard alot about us from her son. Se wrote us a letter stating that the Lord has heard her pryers and sent messengers from far away to help her family which we are doing.

We Are Half Way There

Have you ever wanted to be in two places at once? Well in a strange way that is how we find ourselves. Our family has always been one Unit and right now we have been split in half. Karen and Rebekah are currently in Chile and Andrew and I are still awaiting, anxiously awaiting our departure. It is a strange feeling, like having one foot outside and one foot inside. Not quite the way we expected it to happen but God's planning is perfect, we are the imperfect ones. So as I await my departure I cant help but feel the excitement of reuniting once again with half of myself and once again being whole.

Today Today is ALL or NOTHING

The time has come to stand for what we believe in
And I for one am gonna give my praise to you!
Today, today is all or nothing
All the Way

I never thought that when I would sing that praise song in church, that I would have to REALLY stand for what I believe in. It still feels more like a dream than a reality. I know that every step I have taken, God has paved, because that road was NOT there before. Just three more weeks, and my wife and children are off to Valparaiso. I will keep my focus on YOU LORD. It does not matter what road signs, road blocks, or detours come my way. Because TODAY TODAY is ALL or NOTHING!

El tiempo ha llegado para para nos por lo que creemos
Y yo te doy toda mi alabanza!
Hoy, hoy is todo o nada

Ok Ok we get it!

So what do you do when you have no where else to run? I guess we have avoiding the inevitable for years now. You know when you feel, or better yet, you KNOW you have to do something but for one reason or other you just keep putting it off. Like if you just wash the cup after you use it you would not find the need to spend half an hour later in the day washing a sink full of dishes. But because we figure "its only ONE cup" we put it off. Well, I'm not trying to compare the work that God has called us to do to a cup but I suppose you get the point. Our ministry became a sink full of dishes and now we are going to have to work extra hard to complete the task that has been asked of us. We were really pretty scared. We were hoping that we would not have to go too far. But of course that was once again our flesh talking. But who are we trying to kid, we always knew it would be Chile. So let the journey begin. We will commit ourselves one hundred percent to our God and dive in head first because we finally get it!
